Michelle completed an MSc in Water Science, Policy & Management as a Louis Dreyfus- Weidenfeld Scholar in 2015
Michelle graduated from Stanford University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology and Society and a Minor in East Asian Studies. Her essay on migrant health conditions in China was highly commended in the Social Innovations category of the 2013 Undergraduate Awards – an international awards programme which spans 182 institutions across 25 countries. In 2013 she received a research fellowship from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Stanford University for the joint Rural Education Action Programme. At Stanford, Michelle was the Director of Business Development for the Stanford Student Spaceflight Initiative as well as the China Editor for the Stanford Journal of East Asian Affairs.
After graduation, Michelle would like to establish a social venture to address the problems of water sanitation and resource conservation in China.
