Following her undergraduate studies (African Studies and Economics, Harvard University), Sarah worked as a Cary Fellow for the American Friends Service Committee where she promoted African youth civic engagement and participation and advocated for youth representation, immigrant integration, and cultural understanding at both local and state level.

Sarah aims to pursue a career in African diaspora affairs through public policy and advocacy work with a focus on the Kenyan diaspora population.
