Humanitas Visiting Professorship in Voice and Classical Music Andreas Scholl 19-22 February, 2018 Andreas Scholl, a German countertenor, a male classical singer in the alto vocal range, specialising in Baroque music. Born in Germany, Andreas Scholl’s early musical training was with the Kiedricher Chorbuben choir. He later studied under Richard Levitt and René Jacobs at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
