Upamanyu has recently completed his B.Tech in Computer Science. He was a research assistant at the Multimedia Lab at NTU, Singapore and Head of Academics of Teach Code for Good: a student body that teaches mathematics and computer programming to underprivileged children. He recently participated in the Health++ Hackathon at Stanford University on finding solutions to global healthcare problems and designed a computer vision based mobile application to measure heart and respiratory rate. His aim is to pursue advanced research in the field of computer science with the focus of improving healthcare and, understanding biological systems, more specifically the human brain.
