Vignesh is a wildlife researcher with a focus on ecology, long-term biodiversity monitoring and conservation. He has a background in Environmental Engineering, and he is committed to the cause of biodiversity conservation. As a research fellow at Gubbi Labs, an Indian research organisation, he has worked on multiple research and conservation projects with the government, academic and private sectors.
He writes science articles on the environment and conservation for national newspapers and science websites. He supports citizen science and education by volunteering with initiatives such as the India Literacy Project. In the future, he wants to develop and implement sustainable methods to conserve biological resources in India.
