Cvete read for a DPhil in Politics at Oxford, researching post-conflict cooperation and political decision-making in the Balkans.
Having previously studied politics and worked for a think-tank in her native Macedonia on security and foreign policy issues, her doctoral research allowed her to examine the key challenges to security and political reforms in the region.
Since graduating from Oxford, Cvete has spent nearly 15 years working in the political risk consulting sector, advising organisations on major political risks, trends, and opportunities in different countries across Europe, and globally including as head of the risk analysis practice at S-RM Risk and Intelligence and as ESG Research Director at Arabesque and Head of Advisory at Dragonfly which provides geopolitical and security information to the world’s businesses.
Cvete is currently Global Security Director at International SOS and is based in London, UK.
