Dmytro Lopushanskyy

Dmytro Lopushanskyy is an AI researcher and entrepreneur from Lviv, Ukraine, working at the intersection of clinical care, machine learning, and large-scale health data infrastructure. He serves as an AI Technical Lead at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he builds and deploys real-time AI systems that support critical care teams.

He is also a co-founder of the AI company Harmix and previously worked as a senior AI engineer at SickKids Hospital in Canada. He studied Computer Science at the University of Toronto and the Ukrainian Catholic University. As a former member of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, he developed and patented a multifunctional device for the visually impaired, which garnered awards at several international science fairs in Singapore, Malaysia, and Turkey in 2019.

Dmytro aspires to become a leader capable of leveraging computer science to overcome challenges on a global scale. He believes the most profound benefits of AI will emerge in healthcare, and his work centers on using advanced computational models to save lives, extend healthspan, and improve quality of care for as many people as possible.
