Faizan holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons) from Jindal Global Law School. He currently practices at the Supreme Court of India and is regularly involved in high-stakes constitutional litigation, with his work spanning across civil liberties, citizenship, disability rights, anti-discrimination law, and environment law. Faizan also takes guest lectures at Indian law schools, and regularly contributes to public discourse, with his writing on democracy, minority rights, and constitutionalism appearing in prominent media outlets. He was a Teaching Assistant for Jurisprudence at his law school, and for ‘Caste, Courts and the Constitution’ at National Law University, Delhi. At his law school’s Citizenship and Statelessness Clinic, he helped compile an extensive report on human rights norms applicable to India’s citizenship verification exercises.
