Kimberley is a research coordinator from Kenya. She studied Political Science and Economics at Minerva University. Her most recent research project examined the viability of sustainable development practices in apparel manufacturing industries in Asia and Africa, with a focus on their effects on economic and human development. She also completed a series of internships with NGOs based in Kenya, the United States, and the United Kingdom on projects related to improving access to education and the provision of reproductive health services for vulnerable populations, including women and youth. She intends to work in East Africa to design developmental policies that empower and actively promote the participation of women and youth in economic and social development.
