Meron is a Global Health Researcher, involved in Covid-19 Epidemiologic research with a focus on his region.
Before Oxford Meron spent 2 years as a District Public Health Officer before becoming a Graduate Assistant in the School of Public Health. He led a study on health-related quality of life among people living with HIV and another on contraceptive access in HIV positive women. He was the Chairman of Environmental Health Committee and a supervisor of community-based activities at Asmara College of Health Sciences.
