Sophia is a medical doctor from Nepal. She is currently a Technical specialist- HIV for the FHI360 Nepal office. Before coming to Oxford she worked as the Technical Specialist in the COVID-19 Emergency Response Team for the USAID-supported EpiC Project at FHI360. She has experience working closely with government and international agencies at federal, provincial, and local levels on health planning and coordination. She intends to work towards the goal of universal coverage of health ensuring qualitative and equitable health access to all the people in her country. She graduated with multiple gold medals from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
