Iggo is a Civil Engineer, Environmentalist and climate change advocate from Kenya. He studied BSc Civil Engineering at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He currently works as a consultant and a water engineer with non-governmental organisations and private water sector investors in Kenya to advocate for environmental sustainability and improved access to clean water for low-income households. His work is centred on developing sustainable water infrastructure designs and formulating community sensitisation programmes. He is currently conducting research on the integration of technology and especially supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA systems) in improving water security in developing countries.
Iggo intends to contribute towards enhancing water resilience and security in Sub-Saharan Africa and globally.
