Prior to coming to Oxford, she worked as chief lawyer at LLC UPK an Odessa-based law firm that specialises in the field of Civil, Housing, and Intellectual Property Law, focussing on Civil and Human Rights Law.
Iuliia has also worked with a local NGO ‘Front zmin’ (meaning ‘Front of challenges’) which promotes democratic governance by advancing policy and law analyses as tools for public affairs decision-making. Iuliia wants to play an active role in reforming Ukraine’s judicial system to correspond to EU standards, especially in the field of human rights.
