Katie earned an MPhil in Medical Anthropology at Oxford under the Weidenfeld Scholarship and Leadership Programme.
Prior to this, she graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a BSE in Operations Research & Financial Engineering and minors in Global Health Policy and Engineering Biology.
After completing her studies at Oxford, Katie pursued medical training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital, and Stanford Health Care. She specializes in mental health care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her professional interests are in complex trauma, emotional and behavioural dysregulation, cultural behaviours, attachment/identity, novel therapeutics, and AI technology in psychiatry.
