Mykhailo is an accomplished legal practitioner currently serving as a Legal Advisor at the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine. With expertise in providing high-level legal and policy advice to the Ukrainian government and UNDP management, his primary focus is on strengthening government machinery through the incorporation of the Sustainable Development Goals in national strategic planning documents.
Mykhailo has played a pivotal role in shaping the Ukrainian post-war Recovery Plan, contributing recommendations to align it with the SDGs. He has also developed a comprehensive methodology for effectively integrating the SDGs into draft laws for consideration by the Government and Parliament. With Master's degrees in IT Law and International Law from the University of Tartu and Odesa Law Academy, along with strong political acumen, Mykhailo is dedicated to spearheading positive change in the public sector focusing on the intersection of good governance, digital transformation, and sustainable development in Ukraine and beyond.
