Su Mon is working as a research fellow at the MAIDS-GRID Program Faculty of Political Science Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Her current research focus is on migration, social protection and gender. She started her diplomatic career in 2012 and served as Third Secretary in Training, Research and Foreign Languages Department (2012-2015) and then was posted to the Myanmar Embassy in Moscow as Second Secretary from 2015 to 2018. Before joining MFA, she spent over five years in community development projects in Myanmar. Su Mon has a master’s degree in political Analysis and Public Policy from the Higher School of Economics National Research University in Moscow.
