Prior to Oxford, Thai completed her BA in Political Science and International Relations at Yonsei University in Korea, including a year-long exchange to University College Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Through her study at Oxford, Thai sought to gain a better understanding of comparative politics, with a special focus on recent security issues and how they are dealt with in developing countries. Since graduating she has worked in business management, sales, strategy, and research across Information Services, Education, and Non-profits.
Thai is currently managing her own Specialty coffee business in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with services across wholesale, retail, and roasting, with an eye on farming and trading in the future.
