Annelisse studied International Relations and Trade at Francisco Marroquín University in Guatemala. She currently leads the political advocacy and communications efforts at Semilla Nueva, an NGO dedicated to reducing malnutrition and poverty through agricultural developmentin rural Guatemala. She participates in the creation of a new political party in her country, working on advancing their policy agenda. Her work also includes hosting a radio show as a political analyst for local and international news. She’s motivated to study Public Policy at Oxford to strengthen her skills to advance initiatives focused on promoting political participation and reducing barriers to economic growth in smallholder farmer communities.
