Fariha has been working as an Ecosystem Builder in the social enterprise sector of Pakistan for seven years. She serves as Country Manager of the PEP Foundation which works to develop an entrepreneurial support network at universities. Fariha helped establish the Impact Network, Pakistan's first formal collaborative platform for the public, private, and donor sectors to stimulate, support, and scale critical social innovations. She also co-authored a landscape study of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem that surveyed 200 entrepreneurs and identified their challenges and potential solutions. Fariha has a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry. She believes that an MBA from the University of Oxford with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship will give her the necessary expertise and linkages to further grow Pakistan’s nascent social enterprise ecosystem.
