Grace is currently a Phd candidate in Health Economics and a Child Health Policy Researcher at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust. Prior to this, she was Resident - Pediatrics and Child Health at the University of Malawi, College of Medicine.
Grace is a graduate of the Young African Leaders Initiative in Public Management and worked with the initiative by supporting the training of Young Leaders as the elected Alumni Advisory Board Representative for Malawi. She has also worked with Charities that support women’s health and girl education, namely, the Chatinkha Maternity Care Support and the UKANI Malawi, ‘Breaking Red Project’. While at Oxford, Grace represented the University as a student fellow at the 2019 Skoll World Forum.
Grace studied Medicine (MBBS) at the University of Malawi, and before coming to Oxford was the Senior Medical Officer in the Paediatric Department at Mzimba District Hospital. She is passionate about improving health service delivery to Women in her region and the management of and survival rates for Paediatric Non – Communicable Diseases in Malawi and the Double Burden of diseases affecting Malawian Children.
Grace is currently based in Norway.
