Ivan graduated from Oxford in 2009 with an MSc in Economics and Social History. Before that, he completed a BA in Economics at Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb (2006). In 2008, he obtained another BA, this time in Sociology and Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. He won the Open Society Institute’s scholarship for a one year study at Bard College in the US in 2004. Ivan’s interests include poverty, inequality, social exclusion and political economy.
He has interned for various non-governmental organisations like the Hunger Project and the Century Foundation, and has worked with orphans in Nepal through Kids Worldwide. Since graduation, Ivan has been working as a journalist at H-Alter in Croatia.
