Jade is a qualified Attorney (LLB University of the Witwatersrand), Notary Public and Mediator. After completing articles of clerkship in the banking and finance department of ENS Africa, Jade volunteered at various NPOs, gaining experience in entrepreneurship, female empowerment and skills development.

Jade served as the Senior Research Clerk for Chief Justice Mogoeng at the Constitutional Court of South Africa during 2017 and before coming to Oxford, worked as a legal researcher at the Helen Suzman Foundation – promoting and honouring the rule of law. Jade hopes to further her commitment to the realisation of democracy and passion for human rights matters to best serve South Africa.
