Kateryna studied for the Magister Juris course at Oxford during the 2014-15 academic year as a Weidenfeld-roland Berger Scholar.
She has worked as a Lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. She received her Master’s degree in Law from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2013 where her thesis was ranked as one of the ten best research works submitted to the university. Kateryna was also selected from a large group of candidates to represent her academic institution at the national level of Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. In 2011 she completed her undergraduate studies at the Law Academy under the National University in Odessa with Honours.
In the future Kateryna would like to continue working for the European Court of Human Rights and subsequently chair a human rights-supporting organization in Ukraine geared to inform and assist people in fighting for their rights in international legal bodies.
