Nemanja is currently serving as an Associate Political Affairs Officer in the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs in the UN Secretariat in New York, covering the work of the UN Security Council.

After graduating from the United World College of the Adriatic in Italy, Nemanja obtained a BA in International Studies from Middlebury College in the US (2010) and spent an exchange year (2008-09) at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. Upon completion of his MPhil at the University of Oxford, Nemanja returned to his home country and spent five years working at the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, first as a consultant on justice and home affairs and then as a press officer. In 2017, he successfully passed the United Nations Young Professionals Program exam and joined the Department of Global Communications in the UN Headquarters in New York.
