Olivia is a programme coordinator at Global Environment and Technology Foundation in Arlington (US). She is a United World College graduate who holds a BA in Business Management with a minor in African and African American Studies from Earlham College (US). In addition, she is one of the founding members of Mashinani Farmers Initiative, an agricultural start-up that empowers young rural Kenyan farmers. She has led a project that fights against infant mortality in Burkina, which has helped over 100 mothers and their children in Ouagadougou gain access to free health insurance. Olivia is passionate about finding sustainable solutions that would foster peace and development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
