Wilsona is a Development Professional from Sierra Leone. She studied Political Science at the University of Sierra Leone. She also did Public Management at the University of California Davis as a Mandela Washington Fellow, under the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) introduced by President Obama.
She worked as a Governance Associate at the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) for Global Change in Sierra Leone where she leads the work of the Human Capital Development Incubator (HCD) in the Office of the President delivering policies to help solve Sierra Leone’s greatest human capital development challenges. Her work includeed the design of an Education Innovation Challenge (EIC) to test creative ideas to improve literacy and numeracy in 170 government primary schools.
Wilsona is currently working on the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) project embedded in The Gambia, where she is supporting the Ministry of Agriculture's PMU (Project Management Unit) to achieve the results of their Regional Rice Value Chain Development Project. She is supporting them to develop data systems and improve their existing systems to better deliver results.
Wilsona is based in The Gambia.
