Rudina completed an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice as a Weidenfeld Scholar in 2009. Prior to her time at Oxford, Rudina worked as an attorney for the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague on the defence team in the Haradinaj et al Case.

She has also worked with the legal team providing representation and assistance to victims of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, in the prosecution of Kaing Geuk Eav (a/k/a Duch). Rudina holds a DPhil in Law and an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford, an LLM in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Law from the University of Tirana.

At present, Rudina is an ESCR Fellow of Law and Senior Lecturer, University of Oxford and Defence Counsel in the Thaci et Al Case, Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. Previously, Rudina was appointed as a Postdoctoral Global Fellow at New York University Center for Human Rights and Global Justice. She has also held appointments as a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School and the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law. In April 2015, Rudina was selected as a member of the ILA International Committee on Complementarity in International Criminal Law.

Rudina is based out of Oxford, UK & The Hague, Netherlands.
